Iranian ‘Bells’ to ring at Make Art festival

Iranian short film ‘Bells’ is slated to vie at the Make Art Not War festival (MANW) in California.

The film, directed by Asghar Abbasi, will have its latest international screening at the 5th edition of the American festival.

Tannaz Rezaei and Narges Derakhshan are the two stars of the short film.

No more details of ‘Bells’ have so far been released.

Graduated from the Iranian Youth Cinema Society, Abbasi has directed over 20 short and documentary films with the aim to make films with global language for people around the world.

The Make Art Not War festival showcases the teasers and short films from all over the world.

The festival helps strengthen the production, promotion and distribution of films.

The upcoming edition of the festival is set for September 17-20, 2020.
